Playroom Storage
A couple of months ago, we added some much-needed storage to our playroom. I think I have received more DMs on where we got it from than maybe anything else I've ever posted! I totally get it because it took me forever to find something I wanted. I found a create-your-own storage unit at Pottery Barn that I loved, but it was outside of our budget for the room (if it's not outside your budget, it is beautiful & you should go for it)!
So, my mission was to create a similar look but with a more budget-friendly price tag! Here are the results...
I haven't finished adding decorative touches (and that will probably have to wait until quarantine is over so I can take some trips to Home Goods) but I wanted to share because putting all of the units together is a great way to pass time while we're all social distancing!
To make it easy, I will include all of the links below that people have been asking about...
Ikea Kallax Shelf Unit with Four Inserts
We bought three of the Ikea shelving units & did two vertical with one horizontal in the middle. The inserts come with & I plan on changing out the knobs on the doors and drawers eventually!
Side note: with our baseboards, the mounting pieces that came with the shelving units didn't work, so we ordered these.
